Brought to Queensland by Hom Pyashi, the Nepali ex-pat was craving some of his favourite comfort food when he happened upon the idea for a new restaurant. Where diners can indulge in traditional momos every day of the week, there's no missing this restaurant's friendly vibe and cheery exterior. Beckoning guests over with its bright and buzzing streetside patio, the dumpling house is wonderfully reminiscent of informal street vendors in Asia. This is Nepalese food done right.

Whether you're making it all the way to Base Camp or are just looking for a stroll in Nepal's jaw-dropping valleys, 8848 Momo has a dumpling for every mood, whim and fancy.
