And boy does their balance look good! Both wonderfully classic and modern at the same time, Dandelion & Driftwood plays with different design influences to produce a space that is thoroughly primed to make you as comfortable as possible. The bright and open space is fully equipped with cuddly armchairs that are draped in a material reminiscent of grandma's, whilst amply cushioned booths and cutesy bistro tables make every inch a Pinterest dream. We could hardly think of a better place for breakfast or lunch.

Of course, when it comes to food, balance is everything. The breakfast menu is really impressive and far surpasses the usual eggs and bacon. Instead, you have old-school favourites like corn and zucchini fritters, potato and parsley rosti and smashed avo, all with butter scrambled eggs, cheese, halloumi, cream cheese and optional added proteins. You also have a legendary breakfast burger, hot ham sandwiches, chicken eggs benny and treats from the sweet corner.

As for lunch, this season is giving spritely summer salads that leave you full and satiated, even more brunch delicacies, and chicken tacos, grilled snapper fillet, and Mooloolaba king prawns. 'Varied' hardly covers it. And when you add on a milkshake, juice, glass of prosecco or even cocktails, then you'll find that you have both yin and yang for a perfectly balanced meal.
