In Argentina preparing an asado (barbeque) is practically a religion, and Chef Owner Max Pineiro brings this sense of reverence to every meal. Pull up a seat at the wooden bar and watch him working his magic in the open kitchen, which is dominated by an enormous open grill.

The menu is all about classic Argentinian soul food served straight from the heart, combining traditional favourites with more contemporary dishes such as beef ribs, grilled chorizo and morcilla sausage. It all comes doused in Max’s signature chimichurri sauce. Also on offer are burgers, salads and rolls as well as homemade empanadas - crispy pastries with your choice of filling.

The covered outdoors seating area is the perfect place to relax with your favourite Argentinian malbec on warmer evenings (the restaurant is BYOB), while recycled wooden panelling and wafts of smoke from the grill make for a cosy ambience.
