The Rec Bar Malaga

What was formerly the Malaga Tavern is now the home of live music and HD sports, The Rec Bar is bringing the fun back to dining in Malaga with themed nights, performances and friendly gatherings to watch the big game!

A place where you can really come as you are and let your hair down, The Rec Bar is going above and beyond to provide a safe and friendly space for all to enjoy one another's company. Come and experience the space exactly as you like, whether it's for a stand-up beer and a burger, a more leisurely affair watching the game or tapping your feet to some very infectious live music.

The menu is small but has everything you need. Comfort comes in a few, specially selected forms. First up are the parmigiana and schnitzels, both of which feature crumbed chicken breast with either meaty gravy or house-made napoli sauce and plenty of cheese. Thankfully, both come with chips so you can soak up all that delicious sauce!

Other than that, they have a trio of winning burgers that take the classic form with housemade beef patties drenched in signature burger sauce, buttermilk fried chicken in a potato bun, and a juicy steak sandwich with extra bacon and cheese. All you need now is an ice-cold pint!
