The Grumpy Italian
“The Grumpy Italian” was born into a family of all boys, and we all know that this means one thing...mischief! So to keep him out of trouble, his Mother taught him what she knew best: how to cook. A passion for cooking began and the Grumpy Italian was born, serving homecooked Italian favourites with recipes passed down from the generations.
Expect cheesy classic woodfired pizzas, like the capriccioso or four cheese. Comforting pastas such as spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti marinara or fettuccine ragù. Not feeling pizza or pasta? How about a mouthwatering cut of meat, like a peppercorn steak, pollo schnitzel or oozing chicken parmigiana.
Borruso's Crows Nest and Northbridge
For 25 years Borruso's have been making their own pizza dough and hand rolling the pasta. Featuring all the Italian classics, think napoletana, marinara, boscaiola for pastas. And then there are the pizzas, indulge in Italy with slices of Margherita, capricciosa and Siciliana. Arthurs Pizza Paddington
When you say Pizza and Sydney you think of Arthur’s. Established in Charing Cross in 1970, Arthur himself was one of the first to use the conveyor belt-style of oven to cook pizza quickly and to perfection. Straying from traditional pizza flavours, Arthurs specializes in Sydney style pizza, seafood, peri peri chicken, tandoori chicken and Mexican flavours all feature on the menu.
