Founded in Cape Town in 1994, Borruso’s is the passion project of Oscar, Jamie, Robyn, and Jeff. When they moved to Australia, they opened a Borruso’s in Northbridge and then this newest instalment in Crows Nest, leaving diners singing their praises in the greater Sydney area.

And there’s certainly a lot to sing about. The pastas at this Italian restaurant are classics—think Napoletana, Marinara, Boscaiola and more. The pizzas also feature the traditional favourites you’d expect, from Margherita to Capricciosa, as well as incorporating some modern twists. Get your seafood hit with the Spanish prawn pizza, or indulge in a cheese sensation with the Quattro Formaggi Bianca.
