Led by restauranteur Michele Rispoli, Capriccio is his own vision of the gorgeous Amalfi Coast. Deliciously summery and zesty, the restaurant takes on a cosy living-room vibe with spritely splashes of yellow amongst the whimsical patterns from the Mediterranean. Complimented by white marble tables and delightful crockery inspired by the seaside, Capriccio is a year-long capsule of summers by the ocean.

The menu is as Italian as its spirit, blending traditional cooking with the modern kitchen for a limited menu that serves happiness by the mouthful. Make your fork twirl with their famous squid ink spaghetti with clue swimmer crab, pierce a pillowy ravioli with pumpkin and ricotta or employ your spoon for the pappardelle crowned with beef shin ragu.

Alternatively, give the cutlery a miss with a wood-fired pizza. Opt for tomatoey goodness with a porchetta, capricciosa or norma or keep it lean with a white base topped with Italian sausage, mascarpone, prawns and heaps of creamy mozzarella. As for drinks, it has to be a Tuscan wine every time or a limoncello for afters. At Capriccio, the lusciousness of Italian life is celebrated all 365 days of the year.
