Stroll off the beach and into this laid-back local legend, which has just been named second best burger bar in Australia by Tripadvisor. The restaurant has won so many accolades in its time (including best burger in Queensland) that they’ve actually run out of wall space to display them all!

Homemade and quality are buzzwords here, with everything from patties, to sauces and pickles lovingly crafted in-house. The menu was designed by a Michelin-starred chef, and flavours go way beyond your standard beef patty with salad (although the BB’s classic is pretty epic too!).

From Jamaican spices and jalapeno relish to wagyu beef with blue cheese, whatever your wildest burger fantasy you’re sure to find it at The Burger Bar. With a dedicated chicken menu as well as vegetarian, gluten-free and kiddie’s options, there really is something for everyone.

It’s not all about the main event… zingy Mexican slaw and perfectly golden, crispy chips dunked in aioli are just some of the mouthwatering sides available.
