Characteristic of any wood-trimmed American smokehouse, the pink neon-lit inviting sign at Friends of Fire promises a great night of eating meat and lots of it. Think hanging lights in metal cages, chequered flooring and exposed stone walls. With a front bar and an upstairs mezzanine, Friends of Fire is the perfect venue for all occasions.

Friends of Fire prides itself on their diverse menu, but no matter what you choose, it will be smoked, grilled or roasted in the scorching hot fire of a wood-fired oven. The food is succulent and juicy bites of deliciousness. Start with small bites that pack a real punch including mozzarella stuffed meatballs; with roasted garlic tomato sugo, these unassuming delights melt in your mouth. Follow it up with a hearty main of spiced rubbed rotisserie chicken, crispy charred skin on the outside and tender juicy meat on the inside, served with chargrilled corn cob and spiced-up chips. Of course, there is also an amazing range of American grills; nothing beats the tender and juicy beef or pork ribs that drop off the bone with a gentle pull. Marvel at the impressive emerald colour of the smoked ribeye for 2 served with charred broccolini and red eye bearnaise; marbled and sinful, this is an experience not to be missed.

The beer list pays homage to locals and friends abroad with a range of craft and international brews sure to tickle your fancy. The cocktail options are creative and just as strong as the heat pumping out of the kitchen.
