The Eiffel Tower, Sydney Harbour, Big Ben. A remarkable landmark always defines a remarkable city. In our latest series, Dining by the Landmarks, we'll give you the lowdown on how to find the best table for amazing landmarks, locations and landscapes.
This week, we’re highlighting Bondi Beach. A location that is as iconic to Sydney as the Opera House and Surf Life Savers. Whether you’re at Bondi Beach for sun and surfing or just to be seen, you're sure to need a nourishing meal or cool drink at the end of the day.

Dining in Bondi Beach was once restricted to dodgy fish and chip shops and tourist traps. These days, you'll find some of the city’s most exciting cafes, restaurants and bars popping up throughout the back streets and laneways. Take a stroll down the reinvigorated Gould and Curlewis Street for seriously good dining. Much more than sunburnt tourists, diabolical parking and dodgy tourist restaurants, Bondi Beach has a lot to offer.
And then there’s the beach.
Of course, the beach is why we're all here. The story goes that Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club is the oldest lifesaving club in the world, having begun over 100 years ago. Amongst the posers and preeners on the beach, there is a charming history that is cherished by both locals and visitors.
So, skip the tourist traps and check out some of our favourite Bondi Beach restaurants.
