Seafood has always been a passion of the owner, Dimitris Aronis, but now the kitchen has taken it up a notch - sourcing sustainable seafood wherever possible and supporting local growers and farmers. Seafood features heavily on the modern Australian menu, however, the vegetarian and meat eater is also well attended to, also offering a wide range of stunning, fresh pasta dishes.

The Cowrie is now well-established in Terrigal and is now a classic institution in the area. An Australian idyllic location to meet friends, family or corporate guests for a relaxed meal or celebration.

The venue and the team hold dozens of awards including Hats and Chefs Hats, but none more cherished are the numerous local and regional awards held for fine dining and functions from the local community.
