Residents of Chelmer have got a new favourite neighbourhood spot in Fair Play Kitchen - the latest venture by the team behind Kenmore's favourite, Method To The Madness. Open from early till late, The Shakespeare coffee shop promises everything from brunch and coffee to hearty pub grub.

Fair Play Kitchen sprung to life in 2024, with a smooth and relaxed atmosphere. And boy do they know their coffee – with options such as espresso or cold brew, or even infused with something sweet. Fair Play is like your favourite local coffee shop, only now they serve food late into the evening.

If you’re feeling a little peckish, you can tuck into various dishes from their food menu. Brunch time begins with the basics, with Avocado Smash and Eggs on Toast to start your day off the right way. If you’re feeling something a little sweeter - we highly suggest some pancakes to accompany your morning coffee (or mimosa).

But the real star of the show here is their gastropub-inspired menu. Serving up some of the best from the comfort food canon, you can expect pub classics like meatball subs and crispy chicken burgers. You and your mates could just be found parked pitchside nestled into some homemade parmas – available in classic or vegan. There’s even a cheeky trivia game thrown in for good measure.
