Classic with hints of modern glitz and glam, Maude keeps it simple with a pared-back bistro setup that is all-white and effortlessly sophisticated in appearance. Save for the immense neon display of its name, the restaurant itself boasts very little in the way of decoration, preferring instead to enjoy life low and slow with great food and wine and minimal distractions.

The first thing you'll probably do here is order a glass of wine, and you can take your pick of South Australian chardonnay and sauvignon blanc, shiraz from New South Wales, malbec from Argentina and other rich reds from Tuscany. Expertly designed with the food very much in mind, you'll find that they complement each other perfectly.

To pair with your wine is a small selection of European nibbles. Rich flavours come in the form of lamb sliders and Greek meatballs whilst seafood gets a look-in with calamari.
