The British Hotel

Welcome to one of Adelaide's oldest pubs.

First licensed in 1837, the British Hotel has nostalgic charm and rustic appeal. Relax in the enclosed beer garden in summer or warm yourself by the open fire during the colder months.

Renowned for BBQ dishes, succulent steaks and an extensive menu, there's something to suit all tastes at the British. Start with buffalo chicken wings, chargrilled Turkish bread or oysters Kilpatrick.
