Enjoy food that looks as good as it tastes at Auvers Restaurant, a Modern Australian restaurant in Darling Square.
This venue was named after Auvers-sur-Oise, a town Vincent Van Gogh found inspiring and eventually passed away in. Auvers Café pays homage to the great artist with vibrant décor and dishes that look almost too good to eat.
The menu is Modern Australian with an Asian flare. The two cuisines almost surprisingly complement each other, with dishes like the chicken karrage at home next to the beef tartare, and the confit duck sitting nicely across from the mushroom risotto. A kid’s menu option is also available.
The dessert menu again crosses the globe, with dishes including black sesame fried ice cream and Auvers pancakes—delicious!
And, for those looking to add a beverage or two to their meal, this is a fully licensed restaurant. The house cocktails are a tribute to Van Gogh, with names such as Sunflower in Hand or Telling to Van Gogh, and there are also fresh juices, smoothies, beer, wine and soft drinks available.
