It’s time to get funky and head to Funkee Monkee for some infused Indian dishes and good times.

Located in Bunbury, this is a seriously trendy spot. The first thing you notice will be the adorable potted plants that have been popped in enormous hangers, so you can peruse them at your leisure. Then there’s the exposed brickwork and communal tables that afford it an informal, urban vibe.

You’ll come across things you’ve never seen before. Tacos have been given the Indian treatment with their fillings of butter chicken, crispy fish or chickpea. The there are the Chicken Tikka burgers and a chickpea and beetroot alternative for vegetarians. And for the ravenous amongst you, the Australian Punjabi is a certified meat feast and the green curry mussels are where Belgium and India collide.

And with a cocktail bar at your disposal, it’d be a shame to miss out on one. Heads up, they’re just as inventive as the food.
