Flying the flag for local brews in Hawthorn, Ramblers Ale Works is showing what this quirky Melbourne neighbourhood is made of.

They're detail orientated which is good news for those who love great beer and food. With 15 taps pouring beer produced specially on-site at their 500 litre Australian brew house, they're going for quality over quantity with small batches that are perfect every single time. Where no two beers are the same, each are unique to Ramblers Ale Works and utilise unique and sometimes unusual ingredients for out-of-this-world flavour.

Brewing is in their blood, which is why you can enjoy dinner surrounded by the brewery itself. Gaze at the giant metal canisters and pipes between courses and bag yourself a table next to the screen so you can watch the game. Now that you're settled, peruse their selection of food truck specialties.

We have two camps: burgers and loaded bowls. On the burger side, we have pulled pork, wagyu beef patties and fried chicken, all with lashings of chipotle mayo, pickles, salady bits and cheese. If you're interested in employing the cutlery, opt for a Mexican bean, Memphis pork or sesame beef bowl, all of which are brimming with fresh ingredients, spritely dressings and heaps of texture and flavour.
