Meet the Overture Cafe and Restaurant, your humble space located in Camberwell, Melbourne.

Do not let the name fool you, as Overture encapsulates much by way of both delicacy and stunning fun all in one. Featuring brunch and moderated breakfast options as well as an evening dinner menu, there is much potential for a "power" lunch at Overture!

The small plates are not simply divided up into small food; they manage to pack quite the gourmet punch. One will find the likes of dumplings, stuffed with king prawn and scallops no less and also a portion of salt and pepper calamari.

Once you graduate to the larger plates, this selection offers a touch of everything for everyone. Choose between a helping of grilled salmon with the mildest of seasonings, like mushroom, squash, and asparagus, or opt for an Indian-inspired slow-cooked lamb shank for maximum flavour. Or, try the lemongrass chicken salad or the mixed sashimi salad complete with the likes of salmon, fresh tuna and kingfish in generous portions.

Overture will be serving up signature cocktails and wine at the front bar. Stroll in, find a seat and allow the talented bartenders to do the rest. Start with either a lychee martini or a blue margarita; the two creations are true to their namesake colours. There is also (due to the grape gods have said so) a red and white wine on pour. And then, let's not forget a collection of beer as any well-fed venue ought to have. Now that we have that straight, you now deserve the chance...to eat!
