A Japanese eatery with plenty of souls, Okawari House is exactly where you want to be to cure the Monday blues, overcome Wednesday hump day and celebrate the beginning of the weekend.

Okawari means 'second helping' in Japanese, and after leaving their doors for the first time, you're definitely going to be planning for seconds. They've designed it so you feel at home, and that means comfortable places to chow down with your mates, an informal atmosphere and some lovely street-side picnic tables should you wish to catch some rays at the same time.

On the menu are Japanese staples that comfort and console. To begin, dip and dive into a plate of assorted gyoza or munch your way through some prawn and vegetable tempura. All of their dishes are designed to share, so take the opportunity to try a bit of everything.

And that includes yakitori, of course. You'll find shiitake mushroom, wagyu, pork belly and duck ball skewers glazed and cooked to perfection. And you're definitely going to want to try the mouthwatering flaming Wagyu mb8+ ishiyaki, or the raw platter for two with a range of mixed seafood options.

And finally, they're taking a Japanese approach with some of Europe's most celebrated desserts. Yuzu tiramisu, anyone?
