The Mez Club

The most desirable club in Byron Bay and home to a wealth of Southern European cultures, The Mez Club is homing in on all the magic and mystique of Spain, Italy, France and Morocco.

Over in Australia, it’s impossible to be - geographically speaking - further away from these countries, but The Mez has not let that stand in the way of creating an authentic and immersive experience. Inspired by Moroccan architecture, the indoor/outdoor venue is characterised by ornate arches, enchanting lanterns, glamorous mezzanines, flourishing palm trees and rich terracotta and creams. It’s a palace of North African luxury.

The food, however, is very definitely placed in Mediterranean Europe and welcomes vibrant flavours from the land and sea. To begin, indulge in delicacies like kingfish crudo, beef tartare and Tasmanian scallops with a drizzle of gorgonzola emulsion.
